Aloft
macOS-style menu bar for Windows
About
Aloft puts a slim menu bar across the top of your screen, in the spirit of macOS but built for Windows. It shows the app you're working in, the time and date, battery, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and volume, and every item opens a frosted-glass flyout designed to feel quick and calm.
The bar blends into your wallpaper with a soft blur. The flyouts blur whatever is behind them, so they feel like part of the desktop. The Sound flyout includes per-app volume control and output device switching. The Control Center puts your everyday toggles and sliders in one place. A system menu in the corner gives you About This PC, Windows Settings, and Sleep, Restart and Shut Down with confirmations. Items can be reordered, and an app settings window lets you choose how it behaves. Click the app's name to close the window, end the task or open its file location, so you can use the Windows taskbar less.
It's a free beta for Windows 10 and 11. Feedback is very welcome.
